I have the sony xm4 since the summer.
Love the sound (equalizer!) and anc but the earpads are worthless and hurt my ears pretty badly.
The pads aren't deep enough and my ears touch the drivers.
I have rolled up some cotton pads and put them under the earpads and used them a few months this way to increase the height of the pads.
Have just taken out the foam from under the earpads as well as I'm contemplating selling / giving up on these.
These headphones still don't seem to fit well. Clamping force is way to high, pressure on top of head, even with them being 5 clicks adjusted on both sides.
I can only wear these for an hour a day comfortably, then ears need a long rest. Or the headphones will start to feel annoying.
Love the sound and anc, anything else I can do to solve this?
Not really looking forwards to spending $60 on new earpads, which may or may not be the solution, but any suggestions would be welcome so I don't have to sell these.
