Is it just me, or does anyone else think the headphone jack on the Sony XA777ES is very high quality? I drive my HD600s with it, and am basically happy with the sound. A couple of years ago I had a Headroom Home and wasn't that impressed with it. I am wondering if I can substantially improve on the XA777ES's jack.

I know this question belongs in the source forum, but how is the red book playback quality on this Sony player compared to others in the same price range?

Yeah AFAIK a well-respected member here claims that the headphone jack of it is one of those rare ones considered to be decent.
