Sony NWZ A728. Digital media player

Anybody know if you can fix or change the battery in this player, As it won't hold the charge. From full charge it seems to discharge in the first day not even being used.....any help....thanks..

Can you let me know how you fitted it. I have just removed the back, and can see the batt and wires which go to a small clear plastic unit , the same plastic unit which I can also see on the photo on amazon.. does this plastic thing just pop up, or are the wires soldered ?.... any help , thanks in advance.

I only got the replacement for a colleague of mine, but the person that fitted it showed it working well afterwards. I think some soldering is required though. I will check back to let you know.
