HI: I am getting the Sony MiniDisc deck today at about 12 noon. It can record from a pcdp or another MiniDisc deck but I am using it just to play my Minidisc in my office. DAC 24 bit type S And the unite only cost 150.00 new. I am going to use my GILMORE V1 to power it. And my grado Sr-225.

This deck sounds so good that I am now using my CD3000 and gilmore V2 + X-Feed with it.

I use at home the more basic JE330, I have it hook up via an optical cable to my main rig cd player. It works very well. I can imagine yours is a finer unit. Enjoy. That is a great price BTW.

I have been a user of the JE530, and think it sounds quite good. Unfortunately, the (in)famous Sony jog-dial is starting to act up now, no longer working properly when turning through numbers or the alphabet. Other than this, no real complaints.
