hi guys,
i have never admitted that i have owned these for some time. i didn't want everyone to think i was a snob. more importantly, i was originally very upset to own these. they sounded horrible.
after proper placement, acoustic treatment, mark levinson and hundreds of hours of break in.... i will declare these the best "bookshelf" speakers i have ever heard. the soundstage is out of this world. i can hear things i cannot on the watt/puppies or anything else for that matter. they are like an extension of my ears.
it is no wonder then that my all time best phones so far are the gs1000. the faber's are the loudspeaker counterpart of the flagship grados imo. they are ear tuned to my ears. i love them now.
i know that these are expensive so please understand that what i hear may very well not be what you do. ie, ymmv. i do say anyone intrested should not hesitate to home audition them however.
