I'm the happy owner of Koss Porta Pro (standard model, wired, 60 ohm) and Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 80 ohm.
The PP have a rich, warm and bassy sound without being boomy. I use them both with and without Yaxi pads (they sound even better with the Yaxi).
The Beyerdynamic have a crisp clarity that makes everything, especially vocals, sound like tubular bells being hit by crystal wine glasses, but really lack bass, even with an amp.
For my next pair of cups, I'm looking for something that would be able to deliver both this clarity and bass, ideally a bit closer to the PP that I find more enjoyable.
Don't know if that even exists, but if you have recommendations, that's cool.
