Currently I have a Fiio M11, I'd like to get a new player because it's pretty sluggish and the battery isn't great.. I'm overall happy with the sound on it. I am looking a the Sony nw-zx707 and the nw-a306

My budget is flexible but my main questions are 1. What's the max SD card size that these players can use? And my second question is in terms of audio what's the main difference between the two? Like if I'm happy with the M11 can I get away with the nw-a306? I'd prefer to get that one for the price and the size which is very appealing but I'm curious what it's comparable too and if I'd be happy.

And yes I know the power output issue, I will be getting mine from Japan.

I was able to use a 1TB MicroSD card (SanDisk SDSQUAC-1T00-GN6MA) with my A306. With 550GB used and just under 29,000 tracks I was able to use the album navigation view without any issue, although I didn't try track view.
