I need to buy a couple cheaper but good mp3 players. I was gravitating toward a couple 4gb Zunes but don't really want to spend that much for this application.

My only requirements:

- Amazon must sell it as I need to use Prime
- under $75, the closer to $50 the better

These are for my wife who will use ZERO features and my daughter who wants something small to complement her Zune 30.

Help! I need to order no later than tomorrow morning.

I think the Sony's are both MTP and UMS.

Check the Creative Zen or present us with the options you can choose with Prime shipping.

I'm leaning toward both the Sony and the Clip right now, one of each. It keeps me within budget with the added bonus of being able to try both. I'll give my daughter the Clip and the Sony to my wife. Can't see a reason this won't work out, as long as there is no proprietary software I'm sure it will be fine.

Quick update. I did indeed order both players. Haven't tried the Sony yet for sound (though the screen is excellent).

I have tried the Clip and was blown away by the SQ and output. This is driving my UEs too excess!

Now I want one! I'm thinking of picking up the Fuze.

Yeah, Clip is indeed a great player for its price tag.

That Sony E436 will (if it is anything like the S639) not put out as much volume as the Clip... and I'll bet the Clip sQ is better also, as the Sony S series is supposed to be better than E series and the S is about equal to the Clip.
