I've had the Creative Ace2 IEMs with the Xmens solid state drivers. The mids and highs were exceptionally fast, even more responsive than planar magnetic with no chance of congestion on busy tracks. The dynamic driver for bass was pretty typical sound though.
They're worth it depending on the genre, rock was great but hip-hop or EDM the bass sounded like any other IEM. The closest to it is the 7hz Timeless AE with its dynamic driver, but the mids and highs were even more responsive. The bass on the Sennheiser Momentum 3 beats it for quality and resolution though. They just need to up their game with the bass driver on those. They're worth the money if mids and highs are most important, and gaming in Destiny 2 was really fun.

The good thing is that it's very small so it could find its place in some very interesting hybrid iems.
