Software to sync video with ipod

What freeware titles allows one to put video in the ipod. I don't want to reinstall itunes cause it will delete all the stuff in my ipod before I get to set it to manual sync. Actually, is there a way to set itunes not to touch anything in my ipod before i connect the ipod to the computer? Im afraid it will wipe out everything on the player instantly when I connect it

To stop the iPod automatically syncing you hold down the CTRL and Shift keys while connecting the iPod with iTunes open. Don't release the keys until you see the iPod under Devices in iTunes and you are sure it won't automatically sync. After that you can change the iPod to manually manage, and put the videos on.

I don't think there is any software out there yet apart from iTunes to put videos on the iPod.

what buttons do I check? the manually manage files button and the sync only checked items button? If I don't sync only checked buttons option, will it still keep on wiping my stuff even though I have the manually manage files button checked?
