Hello everyone,

Another lurker has just registered. There's not much time to celebrate though, as he is standing at the crossroads, facing a dreadful yet inevitable dilemma.

Namely:

I've been using my budgetfile kit for a while now. It consists of:

1. Samsung Galaxy S3 (Wolfson) + Boeffla Sound Engine + V4A
2. Holdegron H1 amp (TPA6120A2)
3. Sony MDR-MA900 headphones

I am 100% satisfied with what I've got. The thing is, I am able to sign a deal for a new smartphone, but is it worth it? I mean, I am totally out of circulation. I don't know which smartphone could be better than my tuned S3 in terms of SQ. I've done some research and found some subjective list of smartphones* with good DACs, so I can suppose which phones could beat my S3 if it wasn't rooted. Boeffla, as everyone who uses it knows, is a gamechanger. Therefore, I am pretty much unable to compare my source to anything ;/

The only thing left for me is just to ask you guys - what do you think? Is there anything worth the change (and money)? Or maybe I should stick to what I've got because there's really nothing to fuss about? Or maybe even some of you guys had a Galaxy S3 with Boeffla and could tell me what to do? :]

Just some minor hints for ya:
- MicroSD slot is a must (Meizu y u do this?!)
- root is a must (so is android)
- I am interested in sheer sound quality, no colorization, bass b00st, etc.

Thanks in advance ;)
