Hi guys. I need an external USB DAC and have narrowed it down to these two. I currently have a GCHA which uses a PCM2702 chip, which is the same found in the EB01. I do not know what chips is used in the M-Audio. I need the DAC to run my forthcoming HB1 tube amp.
Just wanted to ask anyone who has perhaps used either of these, or preferably both, and managed to compare them. Is the M-Audio worth the extra asking price? Bear in mind I only need something with USB in and RCA out. Also I am trying to find something easily available in the UK (going there next week). The M-Audio is nearly double the price of the EB01 and I don't know if it is worth the extra cost.
Any suggestions?
