Well Its been a year and a bit since I bought my second Shure IEMs. My first pair were a pair of e3cs which were quite awesome. 3 years of usage, an average of 9 hours a day and decent sound. They wore out on me.
But to the newer IEMs. Shure SE210's. Well my ipod glitched out and hit maximum volume causing the IEMs to blow.
Currently talking to the shop I bought them I could get warranty fix if I pay shipping. But as usual a catch. If they think it is my fault I will have to pay for the fix as well. Shipping being 10$ or more, what is the liklihood they will make me pay for the repair?
I am considering buying new IEMs or headphones in order to replace these. The SE210s have always felt kind of lifeless next to the e3c's.
Any opinions on what to do. I do not want to ship them and find out I have to pay 50$ or how ever much to fix them and then end up not fixing them due to it being a waste.
