(Grr... wrote a whole bunch but accidentally pressed "back"...)
Anyway, I just bought this for $120:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=3085774979
This thing "retails" for $450, can be had for as low as ~$200 without shipping at various online vendors. For $150 shipped, I thought this was a pretty nice deal.
What really fascinates me, other than the fact that I was looking for a nice, affordable 5.1 system for my next year's house (finally going off campus, woohoo!) is the fact that the thing is digital - 2.8MHz digital amping that's similar to the ones used in Sharp's higher end digital amp models.
This unit is rated at 100W per channel (600W total), so hopefully this won't sound too thin and loose in the bass as many find a characteristic of digital amps.
Also this has a headphone out, so once I receive this unit I'll be doing some tests with its headphone out section.
Anyhow, does anyone have any experience with this model? Or heard it in stores?
