Anyone know how to setup ASIO in footbar2000 0943 for Corda Opera? It seems Corda Opera do not support KS or ASIO???

the I think your best bet is to use ASIO4ALL, enable the player in the program, the use foobar to play music through ASIO4ALL to Opera. Hope that is not too confusing

I'm new on this ... Footbar2000 V0943 and ASIO4ALL V25 installed in my laptop, but just don't know how to proceed....I tried to config ASIO4ALL offline setting but still unable to activate ASIO...

what do you mean by unable to active ASIO? if you follow the instruction of setting up the ASIO4ALL on the forum, then your ASIO4all should be fine. then what you need to do next is to go to foobar2000, preference>output>and chose ASIO4ALL driver for out put (at least I think that's how you do it)

There's no ASIO4ALL option shown in my footbar output list, only DS and KS. Just found ASIO Virtual Devices menu, however when I tried to add new, it always response as" an error occured"...

Should I install any optional components for footbar?

sorry, but I think you do need an asio plug in for foobar2000 to do asio output

go to the foobar website and do a little research, you should find how to install the plug in

(basically you download the plugin then copy the dll file inot the component folder under foobar2000)

then after that, go to preference>output>then asio4all option should be there

I made a thread about this. It's linked in my signature.

Cheers.

BTW the search function is there for a reason.

Just use kernel streaming to achieve the same end. ASIO4all is nothing but a wrapper for kernel streaming.

Does that work with the Opera? I didn't get it to work with my Porta Corda USB while ASIO4All did work.

In that case I would advice the OP to use KS instead of ASIO4All or USB-ASIO. Like is mentioned above ASIO4All is only a wrapper which has a result that there is still some interference of the OS.

Thanks for all of your input…particularly the explanation in details from EnOYiN's thread, ASIO4All works fine at my system now.... the root cause is due to my company PC windows limit, It had been solved when I change the source to my personal PC.
