Sent my RE2s in for replacement almost 2 months ago. Should I be worried?

The title says it all. I had the left earbud fail on me and sent in the RE2s for replacement (in a special padded envelope (one of these), with the invoice and instructions to replace) using Canada Post international letter-post. I have not received any E-mail confirming that the RE2s made it back to Head-Direct. Is it regular to take this long? Was the envelope not suitable to carry the RE2s? If there is any other information that would help, don't hesitate to ask.

Because I shipped it with letter-mail, I didn't get a tracking number. If I wanted to ship with a tracking number, I'd need to use parcel shipping, which costs almost $40.
