Sennheiser locking 2.5 mm to 3.5 mm adapter?

I was looking to find an adapter so I can use my v-moda boom Pro mic with the headphones to game with. I was hoping to buy the hd58x, but I don't want to do that until I know I can use my old 558 to game with. Thanks for any help.
