Hi,

I've been using the Sennheiser CX500 for two years now and was quite happy with it's sound. However, after trying a friend's Qjays, the Cx500 doesn't seem to provide a ''natural'' sound anymore.

So I've been browsing these forums in search for a decent IEM and stumbled upon the TD-III V2, which seems to offer the best sound quality for it's price bracket(38€).

Question is; has anybody compared it the CX-500? I really like it's build quality, but willing to give up some, if the TD-III provides a more natural sound.

PS: Other suggestions are also welcome. I've thought about the Xears Nature N3, but it seems to heavy with the remote and all.

Skip the Senn CX 500. They just don't deliver anything except huge amounts of bass of mediocre quality. The sound doesn't warrant the price tag. The only upside is tiny size.

The Xears are quite decent indeed and the build quality is also good. I suspect they're actually one of the best choices in the price range.
Of these, I'd take Xears XE200Pro.
Xears Nature have way overblown bass.
