Hi there!

First off, this is my first post to head-fi. This board has been invaluable for my past two headphone purchases, however. Thanks to everyone for the wealth of good info. On to my questions....

I have a pair of Senn. HD25s for DJ purposes, and I have one complaint about them. The cord is just too short. I'm looking for something similar (if not identical) to the cords that Sony uses on their MDR-V700DJs (bust on the sound all you want, but they are probably the most well designed headphones for a dj, physically). A longer coiled cable, with a 1/8 -> 1/4 adapter that screws on or is attached in some more secure way than the Senns.

I just got a 2nd pair of Sennheisers for my iPod, computers, and general portable listening uses. The HD212Pro has the opposite problem of the HD25s. The cord is way too long. I rarely need more than a couple feet of reach for the applications I am using these 'phones for, but they have a 3 meter cable!

Any suggestions on replacing the cables on both of the sets of headphones?
