I recently purchased Sennheiser HD 598 headphones and was curious about the quality of the audio jack adapter (6.3mm to 3.5mm) that came with them.  It doesn't have a Sennheiser name on them, or any name at all actually.

Does anyone have any thoughts on the quality of these adapters included with Sennheiser headphones and whether or not they interfere with the output of the headphones?

Thank you!

If you really feel that paying more for a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter will make the headphones sound better, there are people that will gladly take your money:

I don't feel any way, actually. I don't have enough experience to form a proper opinion, which is why I asked. Unfortunately, I also lacked the technical knowledge base that explains the simplicity of the adapter.

It'll come in time, I suppose.

I seriously doubt they make any difference at all. Perhaps the really cheap ones are not so good but Sennheiser wouldn't supply one that isn't up to the job.
