Hey guys, needing your help.
I'm less concerned with the sound differences cables make but am very concerned with the "ergonomics" of the cable.
As such, I'm seeking your collective wisdom. Where do you get (any source) the thinnest, softest, lightest cable. I can solder the adapters myself and not sure which headphones I'll end up with. I think I like external material to either be rubber or braided nylon, but lower mechanical noise transmission the better. But again, softest, thinnest, lightest weight. I would expect cable like this to be cheap, too. Assume a balanced config so a 4-wire cable would be desirable. Canare starquad is too thick and heavy.
I don't get all the braided cables. I don't like the look and they have tended to be very hard.
I'm at a point in my audiophile journey that I am valuing human factors/comfort and aesthetics above all else.
