I've read so many reports of this problem with the SE530s. I'm thinking about buying these phones but this is a real turn off. These aren't cheap phones. Shure must be aware that this is a common problem by now. I just don't understand why Shure doesn't redress it and save their customers the heartache and the company the bother.

Oh god. I thought I was the only one with this annoying problem when I first got my Shure SE530's. I had to destroy the tips in order to remove them. I use the large sized foam tips on my Shure SE530's and Westone 3 and love their comfort and isolation.

I had the same problem and ripped the foam. Finally got them off by pushing the tip over the lip with my thumbnail all the way around the tip. I can't tell you how many times around i had to go before i finally pried them off.
