Schumann Generators.... one of those esoteric Tweaks, whats your expierence?
i tried some low budget options (and build one today myself, probably not many offer -90db noisefloor...)
1. imo you get the same/similar effect as if you were playing 7.83hz binaural beats, tho since this depends on volume and electromagnetic field strength this effect varys but imo the effect stays the same, its more of a strength difference
2. you really want a schumann generator that plays sinewaves... cheap aliexpress options offer squarewave! this will not result in the same effect, i also noticed today that my diy generator seems to be "closer" to the real deal ( binaural/monaural beats trough speakers )
3. for me the change definitely effects audio, but after alot of testing it feels like the soundchange is actually coming from a mood-change... so the schumann frequencys affect YOU and therefore you perceive the sound differently
4. honestly not a huge fan of 7.83hz ... first... i like 7.6hz more.... second since imo it affects you like real binaural beats you get really "dizzy/sleepy" from 7-8hz ... it might help to relax some, but its too much for me, or i might need to try around with really low level signals...
would be fun to actually try one of those tube schumann frequency generators, tho i guess with my new diy schumann generator i could also make a file with schumann frequency + harmonics, another cool option i didnt thought about till now, i just was planning todo one file with all solfeggio frequencys...
overall my POV of schumann generators is this:
every device in our home is producing "noise", imo it cant really hurt to have some "ordered frequencys" in there, specially if they work out for you, really not much more to say
