How would one use a pair of HD558 with this amp considering it only has a single 4 pin and dual 3 pin XLR outputs?

Converters will not work. The amp will auto shutdown. You'll have to re-wire the headphones.

I think the better answer is that you don't use a pair of HD558's with Mjolnir. Not only are the 558's single-ended, but they do not require an amplifier. And on top of THAT, you're really going to want a pair of high-end headphones to really get the benefit of an amp like Mjolnir.
