Hey, brother. I know you guys have a Valhalla advanced unit. I did read the review, with a touch of comparison. I’m curious about your personal preference including fit/comfort?
The fit is pretty similar between the two, but Valhalla is a slightly easier fit. I found Valhalla really impressive sonically, but Spectrumica grabbed me more. Like, we've all been fighting over Spectrumica and stealing it off each others desks since I finished the review – which honestly is a better testimony to how good it is than I can give in a review. :)

Good word, bro. Thank you. I'm just intrigued by the Ice Lab stuff and hope they succeed. A little worried if it doesn't work, especially fit, if there's enough knowledge out there to re-sell. Appreciate the input.

Also, I'm trying out the Clara right now and, while it's really nice, it's ruling out all my favorite portable/transportable dac/amps due to crazy sensitivity. I don't think I've ever had one that sensitive. The numbers look more "normal" on the Spectrumica, so I think it'd play more nicely with friends.

I've only heard Clara at CanJam, so I haven't had a chance to really put it through its paces yet.

I took a couple pictures of Spectrumica and Valhalla (Spectrumica is the one with the ridges, while Valhalla is smoother). The size is closer than it looks in pictures because the faceplate on Spectrumica sticks out more. I think it's one of those things were 50% of people will prefer Spectrumica and the other 50% will prefer Valhalla just because of the angles and curves being slightly different.

Nice. I love their packaging too. Thieaudio needs to give a release date.

Thank you for your review. However, in the last graph comparison, it is written as Prismatica, not Spectrumica.

Very clear and surprising coherent, also bass is insane when needed but not overpowering at all in songs where bass isn’t meant to be. The cable was a little hard to fit at first, don’t get me started on how big the nozzle is… I am normally not using a medium/small but they fit like a glove in my ears - I’ll post more once I’ve listen more - so far these are my new favorites.

I got Spectrumica on trial.... Yesterday it arrived for me. I played for almost 3 hours without listening to it. Then I put it on for 5 minutes to see what it was all about although it obviously still has to do all the running in. I must say : AMAZING. Really fantastic. And I say this as an owner of Traillii Ti, Noble Viking Ragnar, Noble Audio Chronicle.....and I should also get Fourte Macbeth. I also had the Rhapsodio V3 Supreme. But Spectrumica for now is really an absolute surprise.

The price/performance ratio is pretty spectacular
