My cousin gave me his old Samsung a month ago cause he couldn't get it to turn on. When I got it I charged it up and it turned on fine. Then I upgraded the firmware, and now It wont sync properly. When it syncs it takes forever to sync the next track. When called my Cousin about this problem he said it never happened to him.

So I want to know how do I get it to sync quickly?

You may want to reinstall the firmware upgrade (format the drive first if you can).

I finally realised the problem with my samsung player, it was the motherboard in my desktop that was the source. I guess it couldn't supply anymore juice to the player. My computer did start having major problems a month later, like it would cut off by itself while I was in the middle of something. I did get it checked out to see what was the problem, and it failed two motherboard tests. So I guess if a mp3 player is slowly syncing like maybe 2hrs on three tracks then the motherboard is dieing out.
