Samsung S3 problems

Hi! I use a Samsung Galaxy S3 with an Intruder DAC/AMP. The problem I have is that I get a lot of dropouts in the music... The Galaxy 3 has also become very very slow. I don't feel like reinstalling my whole phone every month.
 
My question: how are your experiences with the newer Galaxies in regard to playing audio (and general speed). Is the S4 any better in this? Or the S5? Do they maintain their stability and speed over time?
