Sad Kermit plays Hurt

I have a few Muppets movies at home for the kiddies. I don't think I can view Kermit the same way again.

That was a bit disturbing. Kermit is no longer clean to me.

Tell that to the two girls who were sitting in front of me and a few of my friends at the last NIN show we went to. When TR started singing "Hurt", they kept screaming "Johnny Cash!" at the top of their lungs (sounded pretty drunk too). It just completely ruined the mood.

I like how JC changed it to thorns - it really does sound better that way, but then he knew what he was doing. Otherwise, one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite artists.

But as for this version, poor poor Kermey! We have some muppets on dvd as well - but for us.

It was awesome when he was on Extreme Makeover Home Edition. The world needs more Muppets, I don't know why Disney won't let them just do their thing and be creative.

I'll admit, I cried a little....laughed, but cried.

After singing Hurt, we later find the result in Muppet Faces of Death. (funnier if you've ever been made to watch Faces of Death).

But of course there's always the poser-emo-kid, Tickle Me Emo.

Nothing beats Trent w/ David Bowie singing Hurt. DB singing the opening line is almost haunting.

The first time that I watched the video for this that JC made, he was still with us and I'm not ashamed to say that when I saw June standing behind him, I really welled up inside and my eyes started leaking
