The TLDR is that I keep finding roon sounds better than plex/plexamp on my pi2aes. Same streamer but roon is just better. Any idea why? Details of my findings are here (including many pissed off Plex users that don't buy it).

For random guess (since both of them are not open source), I think there might be either digital signal process algroithm or audio engine(which is not the driver we installed) differences.
At least I believe there might be SRC (Sample Rate Converter) in roon since there is a bug about sample rate during last month.
My monitor's speaker only support 24bit/48k and roon keep sending 24/192k and 16/176.8k(if I remember correctly, and my files are in 16/44.1k or 24/48k). My setup is using VPN/vLAN to use roon Bridge so it may be different for other setup.
