Hi all. I took the plunge (I keep diving deeper and deeper) and bought a second hand pair of UE18's.
Once reshelled, will it be same listening experience as buying new? Are some vendors better than others? Any risk to damaging the IEMs?
I sent an email tonight to unique melody asking what the process is etc., as from what I read they are supposedly the best. I also read Fischer Audio is pretty good and jury still seems out on Kozee.
It was hard to find a good concise thread on the topic, other than 185 page reviews of UM, which seemed to focus on the TF10's.
Thanks for the feedback and direction!
