My Lypertek Z7 have died on me after 2.5 years of pretty heavy use. I really like the balanced and detailed nature of the sound. The price has dropped significantly since I purchased, and I've been offered a 20% discount.
As the space seems to rapidly evolve, I'm wondering if there's anything that would be considered a significant upgrade along the same lines, or if I should just repurchase. My only real issues with the Z7s were that they were a bit of a pain to pair, would often not turn off properly, and occasionally would fall out of my ears. But overall, the sound quality trumps all those things for me.
I'd be looking at a budget somewhere around $150 and I primary listen Apple Music through my iPhone 15 and Macbook.
