I am a long time user (a happy one) of the Etymotics HF5. Unfortunately I lost one of
the original eartips, this silicone three-flange thingie (sorry...I am neither an expert on
this field nor a native speaker...it only can get better....
.
Etymotics told me, the HF3 would be the current version of the hf5, but I don't want
to call an inearphone obsolete by loosing a below-10$-piece of silicone.
Is there any replacement known, which works mechanically as it work acoustically and
is not one these foam thingies? May be a cross-compatible piece of another brand?
What can I do to preserve my Etymotics HF5 and its sound?
Thanks a lot from a desperate listener...
