'Remastered' just = Cranked Up - At least in Popular Genres

I don't remember him claiming that all new masters were better. and I doubt he even has that opinion. if you can radicalize his views about modern mastering work, what should we think about your posts? do you keep claiming that all remastered albums are worst than the original? how do you want to ever find a common ground if anything said is interpreted by the other as an extreme version of the content? this all thing has turned into a battle over the glass half empty or half full.

I've been burned enough times by examples such as that which kicked off this thread that I prefer not to find out. I'm happy with my original CD releases.

Don't think I've heard a bad copy of Black and Blue....pretty high quality recording for older Stones...pretty sure the "dirty" sound(that is typical of older Stones material) is a conscious decision on their part....and i like it:)
it's only rock'n'roll..
