I wonder if anyone has listened to the new version of the Rega Saturn, either in comparison to the original Saturn or as a piece in itself. Do you feel that it is an improvement over the old Saturn? Or is it the same, but with the addition of digital inputs? And as for the DAC section, is it comparable to Rega's standalone DAC, or is it something better? And how would you say the DAC section compares to other modern DACs such as the PWD II, the Bryston BDA-2, W4S, for example?
I owned a Saturn for years and liked it very much. I'm wondering if the new version is worth the price jump.
