Hi.

I like to go around to local shops and purchase used records. I am looking for some sort of resource (online or otherwise) whereby I can read reviews of records which I have my eye on. If the guide has info on how it was recorded or any hi-fi geek-related stuff, that would be great, as well (but, of course, not necessary).

Hi Matt,

I always use allmusic.com. It's an outstanding site - great reviews, and everything's cross-referenced so you can easily check out everything a particular artist or group has recorded, as well as search by record labels, etc. You can't go wrong with it.
