Lately I've been thinking of purchasing a DAC/Amp instead of upgrading to a better soundcard.
I will be using the amp mostly at home, so the DAC is a must. I will be listening with either PortaPros and Sennheiser HD485's, although I may be upgrading in the future (Denon AHD2000 or Sennheiser HD650).
The music I listen to is definitely bass heavy (Dub, Reggae, Electronica), as well as Rock, Punk, Jazz etc, so the bass needs to be there.
So far the iBasso D2 Boa seems like it may fit my needs, but would anyone have any other recommendations?
