My dad wants to fire up his vintage 15ohm Rogers LS3/5A. Can anyone recommend a good amplifier for them?

I'm also thinking of purchasing a pair of Buchardt S400 mk2 and it would be an added bonus if this amp had good synergy with both speakers. I have a Feliks Euforia Evo that might make a good preamp, so power amp recommendations are also welcome.

Currently, I'm considering the Willsenton R8 or R800i, but I'm open to everyone's suggestions.

I am similar Sound Artist LS3/5A speakers with Nelson Pass ACA.
They are not efficient speakers, but I also had them once paired with Willsenton R8 and it was a good match, but best bet was a old Akai AM2850 vintage amplifier with 85 watts on tap.

Go with good quality power amps, these speakers need that.

Hey, thanks for those suggestions. When you had the R8, did you have upgraded tubes or was it with the stock tubes?
