I've been dealing with a rough situation with Hifiman. Back in February I had purchased a 3rd generation Arya but, I was recommended a Susvara from some people within about a hour of placing my Arya order. So I contacted Hifiman within a few hours of placing the order and they told me to refuse the package. I did this, and even have a video of it saved from my front door camera of me refusing the package. The package was shipped back to the drop shipper that Hifiman had used to send the Arya but UPS could not deliver the package back to them despite numerous attempts to do so. This led UPS to dispose of the Arya claiming that the shipper had abandoned the package.

It's been almost 3 months now and I still don't have a refund back from this situation despite numerous back and forth talks with both Hifiman and UPS.

How should I handle this?

What do you mean by Drop shipper?
Did you buy the Hifiman Arya from Drop.com or Hifiman or other?

Direct from Hifiman

Edit: Drop Shipper means a shop that sells them as well. Hifiman sells them through partners at times even if you purchase directly from them. A drop shipper basically just means a middle man or middle seller, rather than direct from the company.

Sorry to hear that. Have you contacted your cc company? They may be able to help settle the dispute.

Contact your credit card company and start a dispute. You have 2-6 months depending on the issuer and just have to show you tried to resolve it and most importantly proof you didn't receive the item. The merchant has to show proof of delivery to win a charge back dispute.
I've bought many times from Hifiman through their New York office and never had a problem. The vendor should have done a recall through UPS instead of telling you to refuse it, but if you can prove you didn't accept or sign for it that should be enough to win the dispute.
