I listen to everything, but mostly electronica with heavy drum and bass influences, such as artists like Ratatat, RJD2, Noisa, Rusko, Gorillaz, and Red Hot Chili Peppers

I am confused plz help! :(

My budget is $250, but if it's good then $50 over the $250 wouldn't be a big problem

Previously I had the monster turbine pros which were okay, but a little too heavy (physically like it kept falling out of my ear) then I went to the Bose-Ie2 which was bad and broke quickly. THen I used generic ipod headphones which are just terribad!

It's about time to get new headphones! :D

So you want something with a lot of bass, right?

You can probably find some Senn IE8's in your price range.  I haven't heard them myself but they are said to have a lot of bass and also a good amount of detail with a very large soundstage.

Also the Westone W3, Sony XBA-3 and JVC FX-700 would be good IEM's to look into.

The Denon AH-C400, Klipsch Image X10i, Sony XBA4 and GR07 are pretty good sounding for the price with good punchy bass and they are fairly lightweights.

Westone UM2 over a W2 for those genres. To me, the UM2 seemed to reach down a bit lower and had more impact.

That's the price shipped to the US. $266.95 to be exact. Just ordered mine the other day. And it's super fast shipping as well.

I really don't need another IEM but I've wanted to try those and its such a fair price its hard to pass up.
