The hd558 will probably need an amp. It has a pretty huge impedence spike in the lower end of the spectrum. If you're using it with a computer, theres the fiio e7/pylephe7ab. If you want to use it on your phone, theres the topping nx1

I will use it with both laptop and my iphone.so  recommend something that meets both criteria
i wont have left much after buying the hd 558.so suggest something cheap which is good

I just mentioned the fiio e7 because it is a usb amp and dac. The smsl sap 5 is fine with both phones and computers but it doesn't have its own dac.

Buy the headphones and try it without an amp. I've had the 558 for years and find an amp completely unecessary straight from iphone/nexus 5.
