Headphoneus Supremus
I got so sick of my Z5500 Sub woofer going boom pssh! that I took the sony 800watt HT speakers from our basement HDTV.
I was thinking of changing the reciver and the sub that comes with the sony 800watt K-700 HT system with a better reciver and sub.
Right now I have the reciver analog connections into the rca of my HDAV13 and the Digital connection into the digital out on the card. so I didnt have to reach behind my computer to unplug and or plug in my headphones if i decide to plug them into my keyboard.
Basicy i asking what would be a good affordable surround sound reciver that also have enough output for powering some HFI-780 from its phones plug if it doesnt amp it.
I was also gonna use the current speakers from the sony reciver unit for now til I replace them in the future. I hoping to not spend no more then 200. So like 100-200. I will not be buying it now but later on when I get the cash.
I will have it setup like I do now HDAV13>analog>Reciver>HFI 780 for my headphones, while Digital and the speakers for the output. Thats why it must be a surround reciver and not a stereo reciver nor a headphone amp.
Thanks
