I have been advised that a headfier (to be named later) has donated his Ray Samuels HR-2 amp to raise money for Hurrican Katrina Relief. I was asked if I would be willing to handle the raffle. I have ageed. The amp is being shipped to Ray so he can make sure there are no problems. Once he is done, it will be shipped to me. I don't want to start the raffle until I have sent the money from the last raffle to the Habitate for Humanity. I am waiting for a call back to see if I can send the money via paypal and then Ray's check seperately. If I have to deposit the funds into my checking account, it will take a few days to clear. If that is the case, I will send a check for the full amount to the Habitate for Humanity probably by Monday or Tuesday. Once I receive back a receipt for the payment, I will post a picture.

Check back in this thread for updates on the HR-2 Raffle.

I hope this is not too soon after the last one.

I will post his name as soon as I have it. I don't think he has a username on headfi but does lurk so he saw my other raffle and decided to donate his amp.

Wow, the outpouring of generosity here on Head-Fi never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for organizing another benefit raffle Tyrion and cheers to the HR-2 owner!

I wasn't told it would be. Ray did say that if this one was one of the early ones that wasn't silkscreened then he would have it silkscreened.
