I don't like the first single at all.
No Doubt totally abandoned rock or "ska" sound for the glitter and glamour of pop and R&B. If the first single is any indication, I'm completely disgusted. I though Tragic Kingdom was decent. This album just looks absurd.

I agree. I really liked their show when they toured with 311 in '96, but now that Gwen has transformed into an R&B queen, they've changed their sound to suit her image. Now, they're boring. Hey baby hey baby hey you suck!

Well my first reaction to Hey Baby was exactly like all ofy ours. After awhile though, it sticks to you though. Their other single "Don't let me down" seems they're heading on the right track though. Although they might have transformed from a ska group to a pop group, i think they're type of music is very diverse and that's one good point about the "new" no doubt.
