I thought it might be nice to have one thread w/ info on NC gatherings, both the general one and the Headroom-specific one.

From the previous meet thread, the most popular date was Saturday, May 14th. If people really want a different date, they should speak up now. I assume Drew is still willing to host this meet.

For the Headroom-specific meet, Tyll has stated he can stop by one day out of June 14-16 (Tuesday-Thursday evenings). So, assuming there's enough interest, please choose which day you'd prefer. I would be fine w/ either Tuesday or Thursday. If needed, I could probably host, but since I live in a gated apartment complex, it'd be a little inconvenient getting everybody in.

I am disappointed that I can't make the May 14th regular (maxi?) meet but some things take precedence over hobbies. [Brag on] On the 14th of May my daughter, an honors student, is graduating from UNC-Asheville as a Spanish major, classics minor. [Brag (& $) off] Anyhow I am detemined to make it to the Headroom minimeet on any of the three nights in contention.

Do we bring gear and music software to a sponsored minimeet as well?

I can host the Headroom meeting too, if I have not moved yet. I am in the process of looking for a new BIGGER house. So depending on where things are I should be able to host any of those nights. I voted for Tues but I don't have a real Preference.

Say, No one has signed up for the Florida time slot and I'm thinking about rearrainging a bit. Are you guys interested in having the meet on Sunday the 12th instead? It can be longer that way.

I believe that the poll is uneditable so it stays as is, a confusing/misleading first post to a thread that goes elsewhere. IMHO it's probably better to drop this thread and start a new one. I'll go do it now and then post the link here.
