I have a radioshack PA thing, you hook up mics and it amplifies them and sends the signal out). Can i use this to hook up my mic to an emu 0404 in place of a mic preamp (which i don't have)? Thanks you

Why don't you just get a real mic preamp? It'll be cheaper than that.

Looking at the manual of that item you linked to showed it needed a mic preamp or mixer. Since you don't have the exact same thing, I can't tell you if it'll work. You have to read the manual.

What you linked is a speaker amplifier, not a preamp!

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT connect the 1/4" outputs of a speaker amplifier to ANYTHING but speakers!
