Someone here recommended that I get radioshack wires to connect my headphones to my emu 0404 soundcard.

I read on homerecording.com in reference to radioshack wires, that you might as well get a **** microphone if you're using radioshack wires, because that's what you're "signal chains" going to be capable of putting out.

I seek the truth. may the greek god zeus flash a thunderbolt on the unknowing evildoer.

If you're really concerned about using cheap wires then you could make a post in the Cables For Sale/Trade forum asking for a custom DIY cable to go between your EMU 0404 and your headphones.
