Quick Sony NWZ-A728 8gb Review
Sep 17, 2009 at 9:44 PM Post #16 of 20
I was shocked to when I heard the 8GB SONY NWZ A728, Its sounded much better than my 16gb NWZ 729...
Surely the only difference is the size!! But I have both and I prefer the sound on the 8GB even though the EQ and sound settings are identically set on the 16gb..
Anyone one know why??

The Sony mp3-players have been on my mind for a long time. Still I'm thinking I should buy a 728 or 729. One thing, do these devices have software issues? I read a lot of bad things about Sonic Stage and I don't want more useless software. How does the 728 and/or 729 cope with software?

I have an A729 (paid 70 pounds shipped from Argos clearance of ebay) and it's INCREDIBLE.

Sound is very good, we all know that.

The interface is brilliant. No question. Easy to navigate, and if I shuffle all as I always do and come across an artist I like more, I can very easily switch to all songs by this artist, or this album... very useful for me.

No software issue whatever Deep Funk. Very little need for firmware upgrades either.
