QLS QA-350 or QA-350 Mod. V2

Has anyone had the opportunity to compare these two? Does the Mod. V2 sound noticeably better, or just "different", and will it drive HD600s? Do either of them support gapless playback? How does the digital output compare, say, with an iPod via ND-S1?
 
Finally, what is the TRUE battery life (playback time via headphones at moderate levels, no backlight)?

Just got me a QA350 mod v2 and boy this thing is really powerful!
It can drive my dt880/600 properly albeit at nearly max level. I have no doubt that this can drive an HD600
