Another day, another impressive IEM - qdc Superior
A single DD, coming it at about 13,000 yen - about $90. Available currently from Amazon.jp and e-earphones. It's a superb set, somewhere between W and V but overall very balanced and good for pop/vocal/instrumental and to not too bad at electronic either. Tech wise they have a nice big stage with impressive separation when powered well. You would think for the price that you would be doing justice powering it from your phone or dongle, but I'd advise a good DAP to open it up.
I understand we have a QDC thread but I thought, given that these are targeted towards the more budget market, they might gain quite a bit of traction and deserve a dedicated space for discussion.
