Hi all, I've got a PS3 hooked up to an acer P244Wbii 24" display via HDMI. The monitor has a 3.5mm two channel audio jack to pass the audio from the HDMI input to a set of klipsch promedia 2.1's. The problem is that the PS3 is passing the audio in 2.1, and since the monitor can only output two channels, the low frequencies are missing (since they're being routed to a subwoofer channel that doesn't exist on the monitor's audio out). anyone know of a fix?

the PS3 audio output settings don't have a 2.1ch setting.. it has dolby digital, dts, aac, a few 2ch LPCM options, and a few 5.1ch LPCM options
